The corona pandemic has given camping holidays a real boom, because unlike other accommodation providers, campsites have been able to distribute double-digit growth. Systems in Germany are particularly popular.

The Camping.info portal evaluated one of the 100 most popular campsites and found that there are a whopping 67 sites in Germany. First place also went to Germany, namely to Campingpark Kühlungsborn in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.

The facility was able to claim first place on the podium, because Camping.info already awarded this place last year. The family-friendly campsite has an area of ​​twelve hectares and is located directly on the Baltic Sea beach. It has existed since 1991 and is managed by Manfred Sürken. Guests not only enjoy the unique location and the flair of the directly adjacent Baltic Sea resort of Kuehlungsborn, but also the positive Baltic Sea climate with its kilometer-long white sandy beach.
