From August 1, 2022, entry into France will again be permitted without any COVID-19 evidence - i.e. as before the pandemic. In addition, all other corona restrictions in the country are no longer applicable.

The French Senate voted in favor of these easing and passed a corresponding law, as Check24 reports. Only the option of mandatory tests at national borders in the event of the occurrence of worrying variants of the corona virus remains.

Entry into France is currently regulated by the 3G principle. Vaccinated and recovered can enter with appropriate proof. If you cannot show either of these, you must bring a negative test with you from the age of twelve. This can be a maximum of 72 hours old for PCR tests and a maximum of 48 hours for rapid antigen tests.
