The lessor BOC Aviation has concluded a leasing agreement with the Indian airline IndiGo for ten Airbus A320neo, which are to be handed over this year.

“We are pleased to complete another transaction with our long-standing customer IndiGo, allowing the airline to expand its fleet with the latest technology aircraft,” said Steven Townend, Chief Financial Officer of BOC Aviation.

For Indigo, Riyaz Peer Mohamed, Chief Aircraft Acquisition and Financing Officer, explains: “We are pleased to be able to expand our partnership with BOC Aviation with the leasing agreement for these 10 aircraft. This expanded collaboration with BOC Aviation is part of our expansion strategy in national and international markets. India is currently one of the fastest growing civil aviation markets in the world and these aircraft will help IndiGo consolidate its position in the region.”
