After the route to Frankfurt was discontinued for the 2021/22 winter timetable, this important route was resumed late yesterday afternoon with the “first landing” from Frankfurt at Innsbruck Airport.

“We can finally offer our passengers and guests a connection to the major international aviation hub in Frankfurt again. And with a well-known airline like Air Dolomiti, which operates on behalf of Lufthansa,” says Airport Managing Director Marco Pernetta, who, together with Paolo Sgaramarella, Chief Commercial Officer of Air Dolomiti and representatives from politics, business and tourism, runs Air Dolomiti machine of the type Embraer 195.

The resumption of the route is divided into three stages: the flight connection will initially be offered once a day until May 14, on May 15 a second daily flight will be added and only one day later, from May 16, 2022, the machines will lift the Lufthansa subsidiary three times a day in the direction of Frankfurt.
