On January 14, 2025, Vienna Airport will once again become a hub for innovation and networking in Austria with the "Innovation Kick-Off 2025". Top-class speakers such as tennis champion Dominic Thiem, founder of Thiem Energy, and Rudolf Dömötör, head of the WU Startup Center, will offer insights into current trends and entrepreneurial challenges. The program is complemented by start-up pitches, interactive workshops and a panel discussion that looks at the influences on innovative strength.

The event will take place in the Vienna Airport Conference & Innovation Center, which offers over 2.600 square meters of modern event space for discussions and exchange. Start-ups will present their projects in cooperation with Austrian Start-ups, and an innovation award will be presented by the airport's board members, Mag. Julian Jäger and Dr. Günther Ofner. Workshops such as "AI meets Design Thinking" by Playroom enable practice-oriented learning.

In addition to the innovation event, Vienna Airport is emphasizing its role as a versatile location. The Conference & Innovation Center not only offers rooms for conferences, but also co-working opportunities with modern office infrastructure. The convenient location and extensive shopping and dining options round off the offer.

With its proximity to the city centre and direct connections to public transport, including the City Airport Train, the airport positions itself as a central hub for business, innovation and infrastructure in the region.
