Lufthansa actually wanted to reactivate the Innsbruck-Frankfurt route on November 2, 2020. Nothing will come of this - at least for the time being. The resumption has been postponed to December 1, 2020, the airline confirmed.

A specific reason was not given, but the imminent forced quarantine in Germany and the planned lockdown may have influenced the decision. The latest plan was for the Austrian Airlines subsidiary to fly Embraer 195 on behalf of Lufthansa on Innsbruck-Vienna.
