The Vienna route makes the comeback from Innsbruck, but numerous holiday destinations will also be accessible from the Tyrolean airport. With Luxair there is even a new carrier.

The Austrian airport Innsbruck will wake up from the "Corona sleep" on June 22nd, 2020. From this day on there will be regular scheduled flight connections again. Austrian Airlines will be flying non-stop to Vienna-Schwechat again on June 22, 2020.

"Even if there will only be a few flight movements in the first few days and weeks, we are very pleased that our passengers will again be able to enjoy flight offers from Innsbruck from June 22nd," said Deputy Airport Director Patrick Dierich. Until the end of June 2020, the Vienna route should only be operated once a day. A gradual restart to the original flight plan is then planned.

There will also be some offers in the area of ​​holiday flights from July 2020. Avanti Air will fly to the following destinations with a Fokker 100 on behalf of Idealtours: Lamezia Terme, Preveza, Kefalonia, Lefkas, Epiros, Thessaloniki, Chalkidiki and Kalamata. The destinations will be served gradually from the second week of July. Tickets are available from travel agencies, among others.

Eurowings will fly to Palma de Mallroca on behalf of TUI from July 12, 2020. A week later they will also take off for Heraklion. According to Innsbruck Airport, Tui is planning further destinations, including Rhodes, Kos and possibly Antalya. Further details are to be communicated in the next few days and weeks.

Luxair is new at the airport and will operate the Luxembourg-Innsbruck route with DHC Dash 12-2020 until September 8, 400. The flights are offered on Saturdays and start a week before the Tyrolean summer holidays.
