The tour operator Tui is again offering holiday trips from Innsbruck Airport in Tyrol this year. Eurowings Europe acts as flight partner. Seven weekly rotations to five destinations in three countries are offered.

The “Tui summer season” was heralded in Innsbruck on Monday, as the first Eurowings jet took off for Heraklion (Crete). This goal is offered twice a week this year. At the weekend it continues with Palma de Mallorca (twice a week from Saturday) and Lamezia Terme (from Sunday). Kos will follow on May 25, 2022. The Greek island of Rhodes will be served from June 7, 2022 this year.

According to the tour operator, it conducted a survey among the recipients of the promotional newsletter. According to Tui Austria boss Gottfried Math, this showed that around 55 percent of Tyroleans stated that they wanted to take at least two vacation trips in the summer. Only 15 percent of potential Tui customers have not yet booked their vacation.

"I am all the more pleased that we have again expanded our flight program from Innsbruck for the summer. Not only is there an additional connection to Mallorca this summer, we will also be flying three connections with a larger aircraft to Mallorca and Crete from June 4th and can therefore carry a total of 90 more guests per week,” says Math.

Tui is offering the following flights, operated by Eurowings Europe, from Innsbruck this year:

  • Heraklion – twice a week since May 16, 2022
  • Palma de Mallorca – twice a week from May 21, 2022
  • Lamezia Terme – once a week from May 22, 2022
  • Kos – once a week from May 25, 2022
  • Rhodes - once a week from June 7, 2022
