The airline Iran Air will adjust the frequencies and aircraft on some routes between Tehran and Europe from mid-April 2023. The destinations affected are London-Heathrow, Milan-Malpensa, Rome-Fiumicino and Paris-Charles de Gaulle.

With effect from April 10, 2023 until May 25, 2023, the French capital will only be served once a week. The use of Airbus A330-200 is planned. In the period from April 12, 2023 to May 17, 2023, Iran Air will use Airbus A321s instead of widebodies for the Milan-Malpensa route.

The Tehran-Rome (Fiumicino) route is to be served temporarily between March 30 and April 6, 2023 with Airbus A320 instead of the larger A321. In the period from April 18 to May 17, 2023, the carrier will reduce its number of rotations per week to London Heathrow from three to two. Airbus A330-200s are to be used on this route.
