Iraqi Airways in the air for the first time with A220-300

Over seven months after initial delivery, Iraqi Airways has put the Airbus A220-300, registration YI-ARE, into scheduled service. According to Flightradar24, the premiere flight was carried out on November 6, 2022 on the Baghdad-Cairo route.

The YI-ARF followed two days later. The carrier has ordered a total of five machines of this type. The three remaining copies will be delivered in the next few months. Iraqi Airways has not publicly announced a schedule in this regard.
