Iraqi Airways flies to Moscow-Vnukovo with Airbus A220-300

From the end of April 2023, Iraqi Airways also intends to use the Airbus A220-300 between Baghdad and Moscow (Vnukovo). It is currently planned that the Boeing 737-800 aircraft type will be replaced on this route.

Initially, Iraqi Airways intends to operate the IA22/2023 route pair on Saturday traffic day with A241-242 from April 220, 300. On Tuesdays, Boeing 737-800 will continue to fly for the time being. In the medium term, a switch to mixed operation of A220 and B737-Max-8 is planned.
