Entry to Iceland is now possible for those who have recovered or who have been vaccinated without having to present a negative PCR test. At the same time, the island nation also lifted the mask requirement and restrictions on gatherings.
An electronic entry registration is also mandatory. In addition to contact details and information about the flight data, questions about the state of health are also asked here. If neither recovery nor vaccination can be proven, a negative PCR test must still be presented.
A smear is taken immediately after entry. People without a vaccination or recovery must then go into quarantine until they receive the test result. Those who have been vaccinated and those who have recovered are exempt.
