Israel: El Al relaxes rebooking rules

In view of the continued tense situation in Israel, the airline El Al has adjusted its rebooking and cancellation conditions. The carrier strives to maintain the offer and can also demonstrate a sophisticated security concept.

All flights scheduled to take place until October 28, 2023 can be rebooked or optionally exchanged for a voucher. However, El Al requires additional payment of the fare difference if the new flight is more expensive. If this is cheaper, there will be no refund.

There is currently no provision for a cash refund, i.e. a refund of the flight price, if passengers cancel. Tariff classes in which this is explicitly provided for are excluded from this.
