Israel this month removed another hurdle for holidaymakers to enter the country. As of October 9, there is no need to fill out an immigration form when travelers arrive. Proof of a corona vaccination or a negative test has not been required for a long time.

While Israeli authorities no longer require immigration forms to be filled out, they are still urging guests to exercise caution. There is particular concern about the introduction of newly emerging strains of the coronavirus. Anyone who feels sick within ten days of arriving in the country is therefore required to have a PCR test carried out. This is free of charge for arrivals if they can show an airline or cruise ticket or proof of payment of the fee for crossing the border by land. Testing facilities are available at Ben Gurion International Airport and at several test centers. This is reported by Check24.

In order to be allowed to enter Israel, there are no longer any corona restrictions to be observed at the moment. Travelers only have to prove that they have valid international health insurance, which also covers infections with COVID-19.
