The current head of IT and the Hotelplan Group will go their separate ways in the future. Pablo Castillo will be leaving the Swiss travel company at his own request at the end of September 2021. The search for a suitable successor is already well underway.

After almost ten years in the company, Pablo Castillo would like to take a professional break. Together with his family, he will fulfill the long-cherished wish of a year-long trip around the world, the company said in a press release. He started at the company in 2012 as Senior Project Manager, then he worked as Director Projects & Business Consulting before he took over the entire responsibility of Group IT in 2014 and thus also became a member of the Group Management.

“Over the past six years, Pablo Castillo has significantly developed the IT of our group and advanced a wide range of topics, such as digital transformation. It is thanks to him and his team that the IT of the entire Hotelplan Group is solid and future-oriented. The Board of Directors as well as the Group Management regret extremely that he will be leaving our company. We wish him all the best for the upcoming world tour and for the rest of his professional life ”, says Laura Meyer, CEO Hotelplan Group.
