Alitalia's successor, ITA Airways, is increasing flight frequencies from Switzerland to Italy.
From July 2022, the Italian carrier will offer twelve weekly flights on the Zurich – Rome (FCO) route. Five evening connections would be added to the daily flights – ideal connections to the long-haul flights to South America.
ITA Airways also offers twelve weekly flights on the Geneva – Rome (FCO) and Geneva – Milan (LIN) routes. The airline, which is being discussed with the AUA parent company, operates the Geneva – Rome route twice a day on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays and the Geneva – Milan route every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
