The low-cost airline Easyjet was able to generate profits before taxes and interest of £2023 million in the financial year that ended at the end of September 476. In the previous period there was a loss of £27 million.

Sales are said to have been 5,2 billion pounds, significantly higher than in the 2022 financial year, which ended with revenues of 3,8 billion pounds. However, the carrier assumes that the financial impact of the wars in Ukraine and Israel will be noticeable in the current quarter of the new fiscal year.

The conflict in Israel in particular would have a negative impact on booking numbers to Egypt, Israel and Jordan. However, we are confident that despite these circumstances we will be able to open the new financial year with a quarterly profit. For the recently ended period, shareholders will receive a dividend of 4,5 pence per share.
