The airline continues to recover in the midst of the Covid crisis: With a net loss of around 399,8 million euros on sales of around 1,56 billion euros, the company recorded the lowest quarterly loss since the beginning of the aviation crisis triggered by Covid-19.

Although the sales figures still reflect the persistent weak demand for private travel, the current booking figures would also point to a recovery in the business travel sector, especially for flights to the United States and European countries. “Although Covid-19 and the associated entry restrictions have dampened the demand for international travel very much, we have achieved a turnaround with the impressive growth of our freight business.
