After a long break, the Japanese All Nippon Airways is again using aircraft of the type Airbus A380 in regular scheduled services. Recently, the super jumbos were occasionally used for sightseeing flights, but they were last used on the Hawaii route in March 2020.

On Monday evening, the JA381A made its way from Tokyo-Narita to Honolulu under flight number NH184. A test flight over Japan was previously carried out on August 7, 2021. This Airbus A380 returned commercially to Tokyo on Tuesday.

The carrier intends to gradually reactivate the superjumbos. It all started with the JA381A. ANA's Airbus A380 sub-fleet has a special livery dedicated to turtles. The machines are extremely young, because All Nippon Airways acquired the superjumbos relatively late.
