Kuwaiti low-cost airline Jazeera Airways has launched a new flight route to Moscow to meet growing demand for flights between the Middle East and Russia.

According to Jazeera Airways CEO Rohit Ramachandran, the company expects high demand on this route from day one as there are few flights to Moscow at this time. The airline hopes to increase the number of flights in its schedule throughout 2023. "We are ideally positioned in Kuwait to attract both leisure travelers from Russia and religious pilgrims to Saudi Arabia," the airline chief said, according to Rus Tourism News portal.
