The Canadian company Jetlines plans to start flight operations in March 2022 with an Airbus A320 chartered by GlobalX. Initially, you start as a so-called virtual airline, but you are already in the application process for AOC and operating license.

As soon as you have the official approvals in your pocket, you want to operate the routes yourself with the Airbus A320. Ticket sales are scheduled to start in December 2021. Initially, charter flights from Toronto to Miami and Fort Lauderdale are on offer. It is currently assumed that the routes will initially be operated by GlobalX for six weeks.

The US aviation company was originally the parent company of Jetlines. However, the stake was parted with in June 2021. GlobalX's fleet currently consists of two Airbus A320s and one A321. The plan is to enter the freight business with up to ten A321Fs in the coming year. The passenger fleet is also to be expanded to around ten machines.
