In July 2020, the European aircraft manufacturer Airbus landed a total of four new orders. At the same time, 49 aircraft of the A220 and A320 series were delivered to customers. Airbus gross orders for 2020 totaled 31 aircraft as of July 2020, 369, with 302 net orders following cancellations. 

In July, Airbus delivered two A220-300s to Air Canada and Egypt Air and 47 aircraft from the A320neo family, including a first A321neo to Middle East Airlines and Vistara via Air Lease Corporation. Airbus' backlog of aircraft to be delivered as of July 31, 2020 was 7.539, including 524 A220, 6.125 A320 Family (including 6.065 A320neo Family), 321 A330 (including 286 A330neo Family), 560 A350 XWB and nine A380.
