The aircraft manufacturer Airbus was able to deliver a total of 2022 commercial aircraft to its customers in June 60. This was 13 units above the value that could be achieved in May 2022.
Airbus delivered 297 aircraft in the first six months of the current year. This is still a long way from the self-imposed goal of handing over 720 commercial aircraft to customers this year. Deliveries traditionally pick up sharply in the final quarter.
Airbus was able to land a total of 2022 new orders in June 78. At the same time, however, ten cancellations were received. A large order from China was only recently announced: Several carriers have jointly ordered 292 machines from the A320neo series. There are also talks about a larger order for the A220 machine type.
