The Canadian government will make the use of airplanes and long-distance trains dependent on the vaccination status from October 30, 2021. Anyone who is not fully vaccinated may no longer be transported. Exceptions should only be made for people who cannot be vaccinated for medical reasons.

Most Canadian airlines have now announced that they will implement the new regulation. In international traffic, this should not pose a particular problem, since the full vaccination against Covid-19 is the basic requirement for entry into the North American state.

Regarding domestic traffic, there are definitely critical voices, because the radius of movement of the unvaccinated is restricted. It is also assumed that the people affected will then increasingly use their own car instead of the train or plane, which is not really in the interests of environmental protection.

The compulsory vaccination for flights and long-distance trains is due to come into force on October 30, 2021 and affects all people older than 12 years. Exceptions are only made for people who cannot be vaccinated for medical reasons. If you ignore the new regulation and get caught, up to 5.000 Canadian dollars bloom as a fine. There is a four-week transition period in domestic traffic for travelers who have recently had their first dose administered. The second stitch should be completed during this time.
