An era ended for the Canadian regional airline Jazz Air on January 9, 2022: The last flights with the de Havilland Dash 8-300 machine type were carried out. Most recently, six of these turboprop aircraft were still in use.

The sub-fleet once consisted of 28 units, but phasing out was initiated in 2017. This has now been completed, so Jazz Air will no longer operate a DHC Dash 8-300. The company is a subsidiary of Chorus Aviation and also works for Air Canada under wet lease and cooperation agreements.

According to CH-Aviation.com, Jazz Air's fleet consists of nine Bombardier CRJ-200ERs, six CRJ-200LRs, 35 CRJ-900s, 39 DHC Dash 8-400s and 25 Embraer 170s. Another 32 aircraft are operated by sister company Voyageur Airways . The three DHC Dash 8-300s there are to remain in operation until further notice.
