The flight attendant union Ufo and the management of Lufthansa CityLine were able to agree on the "Corona crisis and restart" tariff package. Before that, however, the company management withdrew from the previous conclusion shortly before the end of the deadline. This pissed off the employee representatives.

Ufo announces that with the current agreement there is a long-term perspective for the Cityline cabin crew. The Christmas and vacation pay will be omitted. In return, however, there will be protection against dismissal until the end of 2023. Fixed-term employment contracts will be extended until the end of 2021, unless the previously agreed time limit is longer anyway.

"We are delighted that in the midst of this serious aviation crisis, the protection against dismissal that has been achieved has created long-term prospects for the CityLiner," said UFO negotiator Rainer Bauer.

The agreed tariff package is subject to the approval of the UFO members at CityLine. A corresponding ballot will be held between November 23 and 27. UFO recommends that members accept the tariff package.
