From June 4, 2021, Springer Reisen will initiate the “comeback” of Klagenfurt Airport with charter flights to the Greek island of Skiathos. Austrian Airlines will reactivate the connection to the Vienna hub on June 21, 2021.

The sister company Austrian Airlines will be offering the Cologne / Bonn destination again from June 26, 2021. Just in time for the start of gastronomy on May 19, the new “Gravity” bistro will also open at Klagenfurt Airport. The “Gravity” is located in the departure area in front of the security check and is therefore freely accessible both to all passengers and to all visitors to the airport.

The restricted opening times of the last few months were used for the renovation. The Gravity offers a wide range of hot and cold drinks, as well as sweet and savory snacks. The offer ranges from sweet waffles with fresh fruit and apple strudel to sandwiches or healthy smoothies. In addition, all common tobacco shops and lottery services are offered. The food and drinks can be consumed on site, but can also be taken away. The bistro is open Monday to Friday from 07:00 a.m. to 13:00 p.m. until flight operations have fully commenced, and of course before all departures.
