In the 2022/23 winter timetable, the Irish low-cost airline will return to Klagenfurt Airport after many years of absence. When asked, the carrier stated that the advance booking situation should meet expectations.

Ryanair intends to fly to Carinthian Airport from Charleroi, Dublin, London-Stansted and Manchester in the 2022/23 winter flight schedule period. This significantly increases the number of destinations available from Klagenfurt, as there are currently only two destinations on the route: Cologne/Bonn (Eurowings) and Vienna (Austrian Airlines).

Shuttle buses are also to be organized around the Ryanair flights. These are intended to make it easier for passengers to travel to and from the ski regions. A spokesman for Ryanair said: "Klagenfurt Airport is also planning to organize buses, which should be planned around our schedule in order to offer guests the best possible skiing experience".

When asked which route is currently the most pre-booked, the low-cost airline said: "The pre-booking situation is as expected considering this is a new destination, with London Stansted being our best performing route".
