The behavior of ground workers of the airline KLM now has consequences for them, because on a video allegedly racist behavior in connection with a Royal Air Maroc aircraft was recorded.

Translated, the people wearing KLM safety vests roar: “Yes, yes, another full box of Moroccans is going back to Morocco. A one-way ticket for everyone. Go away, go away! ”. The incident occurred on July 8, 2021 and is obviously extremely uncomfortable for the airline KLM.

“We were shocked by the content of a video on social media showing staff in KLM vests and work clothes cheering at the sight of an airplane taking off for Morocco. The people in the video are hearing unacceptable comments. Unfortunately, we discovered that at least one ground worker was involved in this video. This behavior is completely unacceptable. It contradicts the basic values that we hold up as a company and as a division. There is no place for this type of behavior, either at KLM or within the airport community. Appropriate measures are therefore being taken, ”said KLM headquarters in a statement.
