The airline KLM is also equipping its Boeing 777 long-haul aircraft with the new “World Business Class”. This is already installed in the Dreamliner fleet and comes from Jamco.

The carrier promises that the new seats should offer significantly more comfort. For example, these are designed as mini-suites that can be "locked" with a sliding door. Furthermore, passengers should always have direct access to the aisle. Those who want to sleep can convert the seat into a 198 centimeter long bed, which is said to be wider than before.

Passengers who are worried about their belongings should now have a lockable storage compartment. There are also charging sockets, a mirror and a recessed bottle holder. The included services of World Business Class, such as the catering concept, remain unchanged. The seating arrangement follows the pattern 1-2-1.

“Based on extensive customer and competitor research, we have upgraded our World Business Class seats to ensure customers enjoy more privacy and comfort during their flight. The new seats are better in terms of design, technology and sustainability features. KLM meets a wide range of requirements.” “With the new seats in World Business Class, Premium Comfort, Economy Comfort and Economy Class, we are fulfilling the wishes of our passengers. We are excited to be able to offer these new products and related services to our customers worldwide,” said Boet Kreiken, Executive Vice President of KLM Customer Experience.

The entire KLM Boeing 777-300 and 200 fleet will be equipped with the new World Business Class seats. This fleet will also be fitted with the latest Premium Comfort cabin. According to the Dutch carrier, the complete conversion will be completed in the course of the coming year.
