From the start of the 2023 summer flight schedule on March 26, the Dutch airline plans to increase the frequency of flights to the People's Republic.

KLM will offer a flight from Amsterdam to Hong Kong three times a week. Starting with six non-stop flights to Beijing and Shanghai, the airline plans to switch to daily flights from May. Beijing is thus returning to the airline's network. The planned increase is in response to the Chinese government lifting travel restrictions, but is subject to government approval, the carrier said in a release.
