KM Malta Airlines agrees code sharing with Lufthansa Group

The new airline KM Malta Airlines has signed a bilateral codeshare agreement with the Lufthansa Group. This includes Swiss, Brussels Airlines, Austrian Airlines and Lufthansa.

This means that a collaboration that Air Malta currently has with the Kranich Group will also be continued under the new company. The code of Lufthansa group members is then positioned on numerous routes to/from Luqa on KM Malta Airlines flights. Conversely, the Air Malta successor will also market Kranich Group flights under its own code. KM Malta AIrliens is scheduled to launch at the end of March 2024.
