As of May 1st, Korean Air's baggage notification service will be available for all international and domestic flights.

In the new "Korean Air My" mobile app, passengers receive a message such as "Your baggage KE123456 has been loaded on flight KE1211 bound for Jeju (CJU)" as soon as their checked baggage has been successfully loaded onto their aircraft. The notifications can be checked in the notification or baggage tracking areas of the app. Push messaging is available to Skypass members who have push messaging enabled for Korean Air My.

The service is based on the Baggage Reconciliation System (BRS) developed by Korean Air, which scans and checks the barcode information of the baggage generated during check-in before loading it onto the aircraft. The BRS ensures that the baggage is loaded onto the correct flight and that it is not overlooked.
