After an internal test run in April, Korean Air ventured out to the public with the IATA Travel Pass.

The digital passport will be used on the Incheon-Los Angeles (KE011) flight in May. The first step in "Test & Fly" therefore provides for a COVID-19 antigen test for passengers in the test center at Incheon Airport. You will then receive the test results within an hour via the Travel Pass mobile app, which must be preinstalled.

“Partnering with Korean Air to test the IATA Travel Pass is an important milestone in giving governments the confidence to restart the travel industry. Together we show that aviation can develop solutions that reliably ensure that passengers meet the travel requirements, ”explains Nick Careen, IATA Senior Vice President, Airport, Passenger, Cargo and Security.
