Croatia now allows a negative antigen rapid test to apply when entering from risk areas. Meanwhile, a court in the Czech Republic overturns the CoV test obligation there for returnees.
From now on, a PCR test does not necessarily have to be presented at the Croatian border. Croatia's Interior Minister Davor Bozinovic is now ensuring that rapid antigen testers are also spared home quarantine. Anyone who has already taken the vaccine dose or has survived a Covid 19 disease in the past six months will be allowed to enter the country without a test certificate, reports the ORF.
Czech court declares compulsory testing unconstitutional
In the Czech Republic, too, the stone is rolling in terms of CoV testing - but in the opposite direction. Because a local court finds the previous regulation, which provides for a negative test result on entry, to be disproportionate. The goal of fighting the pandemic can also be achieved with milder means, such as compulsory quarantine and testing after entry. It referred to the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the constitution, which guarantees the free return to the Czech Republic at any time.
