From June 2, 2020 to September 27, 2020, the golf carrier plans to fly twice a week between Kuwait City and Vienna.

According to the current state of planning, golf carrier Kuwait Airways will again offer a non-stop connection between Kuwait City in Vienna this year. From August 2, 2020, two weekly rotations are to be carried out between the two cities. These will be offered on Thursday and Sunday until September 27, 2020. Medium-haul aircraft of the type Airbus A320 are planned as aircraft.

The airline is one of the smaller golf carriers and carries around 4,5 million passengers a year. The home base is Kuwait City Airport. The fleet currently consists of 13 Airbus A320s, five Airbus A330s and ten Boeing 777s. The average age of the aircraft is 4,6 years.

The carrier is always in the crossfire of criticism, because due to the laws of the state of Kuwait, Israeli citizens cannot be transported. The government bans all transport companies from carrying nationals with countries that do not have diplomatic relations with them.
