Golf carrier Kuwait Airways will connect Budapest Airport to Kuwait City from June 13, 2023. The route is to be served with medium-haul Airbus A320neo jets with 134 seats.

The Hungarian gateway will offer 69 weekly flights to the Middle East this summer - more than 14.000 weekly one-way seats. With connections to nine airports in the region, Budapest will be connected to Abu Dhabi, Amman, Dammam, Doha, Dubai, Jeddah, Kuwait, Riyadh and Tel Aviv.

“Today's announcement is a clear signal that we want to offer our passengers the best possible choice across our entire route network. We are very pleased to welcome Kuwait Airlines to our list of airlines and are pleased that they saw the potential of the Hungarian market. Regardless of whether passengers choose the new flights for tourist, business or educational reasons, we are sure that they will be a great success,” said Balázs Bogáts, Airline Development Director, Budapest Airport.
