In the previous year, Paderborn Airport cut numerous employees in the course of the insolvency proceedings. Many went to the labor court and now the first two judgments have been made. The terminations were overturned.

Among other things, the Senate decided that the deadlines were not met. Therefore, the pronounced terminations should be ineffective in the two specific cases. Further judgments are to be announced on October 8, 2021, the outcome of which is still completely open.

The decisions announced on Monday by the Paderborn Labor Court in two individual cases are not yet legally binding. The airport has the opportunity to appeal and thus to take it to the next higher instance.
