Long-haul aircraft: IAG is taking options on Airbus and Boeing

The International Airlines Group, which includes Iberia, Aer Lingus and British Airways, is taking options with aircraft manufacturers Airbus and Boeing. The UK-based carrier is ordering six B787-10s while securing six B787-10 purchase options. 

An Airbus A350-900 destined for Iberia has been ordered from the European manufacturer Airbus. This order comes from options previously held. The ordered aircraft are to be delivered from the factory between 2025 and 2026, IAG announced.
