Latam plans to sell nine Boeing 767-300ERs

The Latam Airlines Group plans to sell a total of nine Boeing 767-300ERs to Jetran. The machines are currently registered on the Brazilian AOC. Since the group is in bankruptcy in the United States, the approval of a New York court is required.

A corresponding application has already been submitted. The machines with the registrations PT-MOA, PT-MOB, PT-MOC, PT-MOE, PT-MOF, PT-MSS, PT-MSW, PT-MSX and PT-MSZ are affected. Originally these aircraft were delivered to Lan and are equipped with General Electric engines.

Since the nine Boeing 767s are in financing, they have to be triggered beforehand. If the court agrees, Latam will buy the aircraft and then sell them to Jetran for sale. In order to be able to prove a certain security for this, a deposit was deposited in an escrow account.
