The investment company 777 Partners announced at the Farnborough Air Show that it will acquire up to 66 more Boeing 737-Max. An order for 30 B737-Max-200s has already been fixed.

This is the fifth Max order from 777 Partners. The company has stakes in various airlines, including Flair Airlines. The machines are primarily leased to holdings. The Boeing 737 Max-200 is a special variant of the Max-8 that has an increased seating capacity. This version was developed for low-cost airlines. Launch customer was Ryanair.

Josh Wander, Managing Partner of 777 Partners, described the recent major order as an important milestone in the business relationship with Boeing. This would secure the planned growth of the leasing company he manages.
