The former airline Onur Air has now had its last leased aircraft withdrawn. The TC-ODA was flown out on Friday from Istanbul-Atatürk via Bishkek to Nîmes-Garons. The transfer was made at the instigation of the owner of this Airbus A320.

This means that Onur Air no longer has any airworthy commercial aircraft. At the end of 2021, the Turkish Civil Aviation Authority AOC and operating license suspended. The staff has been laid off in several stages since the beginning of the corona pandemic. According to reports, there are now neither flying nor administrative employees, because they are said to have received no salary for a longer period of time.

With the TC-OBS, there is a machine parked at Antalya Airport that is still more or less under the influence of Onur Air. A lot of work has obviously been omitted since the grounding, because the aircraft makes a visually desolate impression. In any case, according to the authorities, it is currently considered unfit to fly.
