The Austrian branch has already had to file for bankruptcy. Now the French sister company OpenSkies, which also uses the level brand, is up to the collar.

After Vienna and Amsterdam there will be no comeback of the IAG brand Level in Paris-Orly either. The group will give up the long-haul flights previously operated by the French subsidiary OpenSkies. There have been rumors about this for a long time, because sales at both the Austrian Level Europe and OpenSkies in France fell far short of expectations.

The daily El Pais writes that OpenSkies' flight operations will finally be discontinued and talks have started about a social plan for the employees. The IAG subsidiary, which offers long-haul flights from Orly under the level brand, will be liquidated. The Austrian sister company Level Europe had to file for bankruptcy a few weeks ago and is not to be continued. This reduces the presence of the Level brand in Barcelona, with Iberia operating the flights.
