Since Klaus-Dieter Scheurle, Managing Director of Deutsche Flugsicherung GmbH, will retire at the end of the year, a successor had to be found. DFS found what it was looking for at Liebherr and appoints Arndt Schoenemann as the new managing director.

The DFS Supervisory Board announced that the manager will act as Chairman of the Management Board from January 1, 2021. He is supported by three other managing directors. Scheurle was at the helm of German air traffic control for eight years.

Schoenemann is not alien to the industry, but acted as commercial director of the aerospace division at Liebherr. The manager is also active on the board of the Federal Association of the German Aerospace Industry.
