The Maltese company Corendon Europe is offering non-stop flights to Hurghada and Gran Canaria from Linz in Upper Austria in the current winter timetable period 2021/22. The aircraft used are medium-haul Boeing 737 jets.

The Egyptian city is offered on the Sunday traffic day. It goes to Las Palmas every Saturday. Other destinations that are offered from Linz are Frankfurt am Main and Düsseldorf.

The last-mentioned city in Germany is served by Eurowings five times a week with an Airbus A319. The connection to the largest Lufthansa hub, Frankfurt am Main, is in the flight schedule up to twice a day and is operated by the Italian crane subsidiary Air Dolomiti.

In direct comparison with the 2020/21 winter flight schedule, there are significantly more passenger flights from Linz-Hörsching. The corona pandemic hit the passenger segment at this airport particularly hard, because there were no scheduled flights at all for a very long period of time. Meanwhile, Düsseldorf (Eurowings) and Frankfurt am Main (Air Dolomiti) are served again. With Corendon Europe (Hurghada and Gran Canaria) you have two hot water targets this year that did not exist in the same period of the previous year.
