Especially in this extraordinary time, which demands a lot from us, many long for a change of scenery, in short: for vacation! Those responsible at Linz Airport are also aware of this. And present the summer flight schedule for 2021.

Passengers can choose from a total of 13 travel destinations. The Upper Austrian airport is tackling the Greek islands in particular, which make up almost half of the destinations. Larnaka in Cyprus joined the team this year.

Of course, given the Covid-19 situation, it cannot be ruled out that one or the other flight plan may be adjusted. It is believed, however, that the test strategy, the vaccinations and the introduction of the “green passport” contribute significantly to normalizing air traffic again.

“We are pleased that the tour operators have again launched a wide range of offers in Linz. It is gratifying that the organizers have already extended the season and that destinations such as Crete / Heraklion, Rhodes and Mallorca will be served in October and thus also in the autumn holidays. In addition, with Larnaca we can offer our customers a new, very interesting destination, ”says Norbert Draskovits, Managing Director of Linz Airport.
