The tour operator Tui is once again offering numerous holiday flights from Linz-Hörsching this year. The portfolio includes 19 weekly flights to five countries this year. The start of the season was brought forward to May 1, 2022 this year. Trips towards Hurghada made the start.

On May 14th and 15th, 2022, the Greek destinations Rhodes and Heraklion were added. A McDonnell Douglas MD-82 operated by European Air Charter is again stationed in Linz. As part of the circulations, this will also be used again this year from Graz Airport.

According to its own information, the tour operator Tui is experiencing particularly strong demand from Upper Austria. Among other things, the results of a self-conducted customer survey are referred to. According to this, around 55 percent of Upper Austrian Tui guests want to travel at least twice this summer. According to Tui, the number of bookings on the classic holiday routes in the Mediterranean should be above the level that was in 2019. However, the tour operator did not give details.

Tui is offering the following destinations from Linz in summer 2022:

  • Heraklion - five weekly flights
  • Rhodes - five weekly flights
  • Karpathos/Kos - one weekly flight
  • Corfu – one weekly flight
  • Hurghada - two weekly flights
  • Palma de Mallorca – two weekly flights
  • Burgas – one weekly flight
  • Antalya - two weekly flights
  • Larnaka - two weekly flights during the autumn holidays
