Several airlines are announcing new routes or the resumption of their routes from the capital of Slovenia.

The airport in Ljubljana reopened to commercial air traffic on May 12th. However, to date there have been only a few airlines that have added the Slovenian city to their route network. Finnair even withdrew completely and canceled all flights from Helsinki by the end of the year.

Before the outbreak of the new type of corona virus, 17 airlines from 22 cities in fifteen countries should fly to Ljubljana in this year's summer season. Now the planning has come to a standstill, many carriers would still hesitate to resume, like exyuaviation.com reported. A slow but positive trend can nevertheless be seen - airlines such as Brussels, Wizz Air and Air France have already announced that they will be flying to the airport again in the future.
