German charter airline Private Wings is interested in purchasing five Dornier D328eco to be produced by Deutsche Aircraft. A corresponding declaration of intent was announced during the ground-breaking ceremony for the plant in Leipzig.

Private Wings is already a Dornier 328 operator. However, it is the current model that was still being manufactured by the defunct aircraft manufacturer Fairchild-Dornier. Deutsche Aircraft intends to launch a modernized variant under the brand name D328eco. The potential first customer should now be Private Wings.
