Long-haul: Condor does not cooperate with Smartlynx

Advertising

The German holiday airline will end the wet lease cooperation with the Smartlynx Group in the long-haul segment. The capacities are to be leased from Air Belgium and Wamos Air in the future, but they no longer want to be dependent on ACMI partners in the medium term.

As initially reported by the industry portal FVW, Condor is said to have decided to end the cooperation due to numerous passenger complaints and relevant media reports about the quality of the long-haul flights operated by Smartlynx. Just a few weeks ago everything looked very different than it did back then the cooperation was even expanded.
